I had one question about using the medical facility on the ship and the customer service person I spoke with was useless and could not answer my question. Seemed like a good plan but customer service is worthless.

Always feel insurance is a little pricey when we don’t use it. Have used it in the past and processing went very smooth after we read the requirements before we submitted our claim.

We didn't need to file a claim but were happy for the peace of mind in case things went wrong. The cruise line misplaced one piece of luggage and during my hour wait it was good to know that had they lost my bag we would have been covered.

I purchased this plan the day before my trip because the weather called for very strong winds(40-60 mph) and I was concerned about flight cancellations and missing my cruise. My healthcare provider also stated that medevacs from a cruise ship is a case by case situation to determine if they covered the cost. Purchasing my CSA plan was very simple, cost effective and gave me a secure feeling if something should happen. I'll purchase this plan in the future for other trips.

I am taking this opportunity to remind everyone that the best time to purchase a Comprehensive coverage plan is before you recognize the need to cancel. Trip Cancellation and Trip Interruption would have reimbursed you for an "unforeseeable Covered Eventâ€. Unfortunately you would have not had coverage for the cancellation or delay due to the adverse weather since you chose to purchase this plan only one day prior to your departure and only after the National Weather Service had issued a pending storm warning.
Please always remember that you are welcomed to call InsureMyTrip at 800-487-4722 for assistance in quoting plans for future travel.
Get insurance when you book your trip. I waited until after my opportunity to cancel through the cruise line.
That prevented us for getting 100% coverage. Fortunately we didn't need anything.
