Can't really taste it this time since I didn't need it, but I've needed it before and it paid like it was supposed to after some hoop jumping.

Overall plan benefits seemed to be good. Fortunately we did not have need to use them due to weather or health but we felt comfortable knowing coverage was there in the event we had.
We were however disappointed in the fact that an agent told us there'd be no compensation for a change by one of our air flight segments that necessitated us arriving a day earlier to catch the last flight to our final destination. We incurred a hotel stay and meal costs out of pocket.

My opinion is based on purchasing the plan. I have no idea if my opinion would change if I had to file a claim.

It seemed like a fairly decent price for the benefits offered by the plan.

Since everything went smoothly on our trip, no claims were submitted to CSA Travel Protection so this makes it difficult to judge the plan.

It is important for me to have a plan that offers medical evacuation when I am traveling to areas outside the US. This service is an absolute must-have and it needs to be at a level high enough to cover all contingencies. This CSA policy does this.

I thank God that I had a safe trip. The only problem that occured was that the first flight on the way home was delayed twice which caused me to miss the next connecting flight which almost caused me to miss the third connecting flight which was on a different air line. Many other passengers in the same situation were very upset but I had no fear because I was protected by my travel insurance.

Since I did not have to file a claim, I really can't say how pleased I am with the plan or company. The test comes when someone has to file a claim.

My phone call resulted in a very nice consultant who helped me understand which plan worked best for our trip....easy, though a little costly.
